My scope and 15-45x eyepiece was less than $300 from Simpson Optics. I checked Eagleoptics and they have that package for $308 or the scope with a 20x eyepiece for $228. I was also looking for a $200-300 scope when I purchased the Nikon and originally thought I would purchase a Spacemaster. It may not be a Nikon or a Swarovski (my binoculars aren't either), but a Spacemaster sounds like exactly what I need!"
