If someone who received your message, or any message, has a machine that has been infected with the BadTrans_B worm, that worm can use any unread message to send an apparent response to the sender in an attempt to spread itself. Your protection is 1) to not open the attachment, 2) to not have an unpatched version of Internet Explorer or Outlook Express that opens attachments automatically, or 3) to have virus protection software, with up-to-date virus definitions, running on your computer.
