She had seen a hummingbird at her feeder last week that looked "different" and somewhat rusty colored. She had only seen it once but admitted she was not at home often. We had just sent our winter issue of our store newsletter out and I had included a section on what birds to be looking for. I noted that any hummingbird seen past the end of october could possibly be an unusual western bird. (in hopes that anyone spotting a hummer would call). She did say that she would call back if she saw it again. I still have 3 feeders out. To update, the Oriole in our neighborhood has not been spotted again.
