In the Mall elms in front of the Museum, I saw a (the?) larger immature Cooper's, moving and hunting among the trees. (for those who missed it, I found two similar hawks on the Ellipse last week). As is often the case, what first attracted my attention was a ball of pigeons, at which the adult was making passes, and an attack formation of a few starlings that was trying to get above the hawk. No luck there.
