Although distant, I got great looks at these birds (all adults), at several times having 4 in my scope at once. At another time, a pair came fairly close to shore and I got good views through my binoculars. I watched the birds fly over the Bay, at times diving spectacularly, for over 90 minutes. Otherwise, it was fairly quiet, with several Great Black Backed Gulls, 2 Coots, a few small groups of Buffleheads, some Cormorants, and 2 Great Blue Herons. There were other ducks much further out, but I was unable to identify them.
