Kem, I highly recommend you take it on the chin and send them back to the B&L folks for repair. Ask around the Howard County or Montgomery County Bird Clubs and see if any of those folks have a spare pair of bins they could loan you. The B&L factory does a good job and they are relatively quick (although unlikely to get them back to you in time for Christmas Count season). I wouldn't risk my binoculars to anyone other than factory service.
