Perhaps the highlights were a male American Wigeon and a group of four Great Egrets (which have been around for several days). It was the first Wigeon that I have seen at the Pond in several years. Also present were 2 Coots, 1 Hermit Thrush, many Robins, 3 Eastern Bluebirds, the usual Gadwall, Shovelers, & gulls, Red Bellied Woodpecker, 2 Downy Woodpeckers, a Yellow Bellied Sapsucker, and many White Throated Sparrows. I also witnessed one Canada Goose which accidentally flipped completely over while feeding (tipping).
