To follow the sightings, go to the MOS homepage, and at the bottom left click on Jack Siler's Birdmail. Scroll down slightly till finding the eastern listserves, and you will find the New York listserve (they are in basically alphabetical order). Since this is a pretty exceptional bird for NY, these hummers are also being discussed on other NY listserves (such as Cayuga and Oneida), NJ, and other places. I think the NY listserve has had the most complete discussion on their sightings, though. Also, check the NY RBA (also found from the MOS homepage), which might have additional details not found on the listserve.
