PINTAIL, 4 WOOD DUCKS and a single male GADWALL 3 YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKERS, one at a row of holes with running sap 8 KILLDEER 2 BROWN CREEPERS 2 HERMIT THRUSHES 1 FOX SPARROW 1 EASTERN TOWHEE 2 PALM WARBLERS (1 a pale western form and the second one very much yellower) in the south part of Kenilworth Park 1 female LONG-TAILED DUCK on the Anacostia across from the Navy Yard These sightings have been passed along to the DC Christmas Bird Count team working the same areas at about the same time as our group.
