Also 2 LBB GULLS (1 adult). Sunday, about 1000 gulls were at rest on a fairly close dirt hill and viewable from outside the fence on Brick Kiln Rd. Yesterday Sam Dyke found the majority feeding in a new dumping site far in the back and not visible from the Rd. Entry is occasionally problematic. One of the gate workers is obviously a Taliban defector and will give you the boot. Suggestion: if you need to go in try through the weighing gate, not the first (recycling) gate. There is also a usually open gate further along the road with an environmental trailer parked there. The problem there is twofold. The roads are scary if you try to go to the back and viewing points are difficult If you decide to go in be extremely cautious. Not only are the roads bad but also the truck drivers seem to be practicing for the Daytona 500.
