There were not as many coots as I have seen in the past. The best sightings of the day were 4-6 Gadwall on the western side of the bridge and a single male greater scaup on the east side of the bridge. Other sightings included: American Widgeon Tundra Swan Hooded Merganser Bufflehead Ruddy Duck Pied-billed Grebe Mallard Canada Goose PS, there were 2 red-headed woodpeckers present on the dead snags off of the Black Hills trail.
