      This Saturday, January 5, 2002, the new bird trip season starts off
with a return to Eastern Neck National Wildlife Refuge and maybe some stops
in the surrounding areas.  This trip promises good looks at loons, dabbling
ducks, bay ducks, divers, etc., and excellent looks at Tundra Swans.

      Meeting Place: Big Elk Mall, Dunkin Donuts parking lot .
      Time: 7:00 am (full day, bring lunch).
      Suggested equipment: spotting scope, appropriate inclement weather
clothes, water repellent boots for walks to the points.
      Conveniences: clean outdoor rest rooms at the Eastern Neck National
Wildlife Refuge.
      Admission:  none.
