I know a specific channel has been chosen by the birding community, but I don't know which one it is! If someone can let me know -- and also tell me anything else I should know about using these radios for birding -- I'd greatly appreciate it. Hope you all got some kind of birding goodies as holiday gifts! My daughter gave us a gadget made to mount near a birdhouse or feeder so you can hear the birds from inside the house (a sort-of-bird-shaped outdoor wireless microphone and a speaker with a place for a picture of a bird). She also gave me a fuzzy fleece jacket covered with chickadees. And Ken got the new 2002 Sibley calendar, so we're all set for a new year of birding (if I can find out what channel to use those radios on! ). Happy New Year to all!
