Several others had also looked without success, including John Landers very early in the morning. John also mentioned that he had gone down to Fort McHenry and didn't see it there. I also wandered by car around Herring Run Park, Lake Montibello, Clifton Park, Double Rock Park, and Holy Redeemer cemetery and did not find the bird. Incidentally, Garrett Heights Elementary School looks like it would be a great place for hawk-watching. It's on the highest point for miles with a good view in almost all directions, and it's about half a mile south of Kevin Graff's old home that was so good for hawks. (To get there from the Beltway (I-695) go south on Harford Rd about 2-3 miles. Turn right (west) onto Rueckert Ave about 3 short blocks south of Echodale Ave.) Steve Sanford Randallstown (Baltimore County) MD ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
