Around 10:15 we saw a peregrine fly over the houses at the western edge of the park. In the wood duck box at Bunk's pond there was a red morph screech owl with its head poking out. We checked the other wood duck boxes in the park, but only found this one owl. Sparrows were in good numbers with about 10 fox sparrows, most in the area of the bulletin board with the birding info. Brian also found 1 American tree sparrow. Also saw plenty of song, white-throat, and a couple field, but no white-crowned.
