Noted the rounded head shape, smallish bill, and overall smaller size relative to some surrounding Herring Gulls. Also, had limited streaking on nape, and bright pink legs. Also found were 8 Greater Black Backed Gulls, 105 Herring Gulls, and 1,200+ Ring Billed Gulls. This morning, 3 Great Egrets remained on the ice admist the snow flurries and estimated 1,400+ Canada Geese, 88 mallards, 1 male Shoveler, 4 Coots, and 2 Great Blue Heron. Also present were the usual White Throated Sparrows, Cardinals, Carolina Chicadees, Titmice, and Downy Woodpeckers.
