Highlight was a pair of adult Bald Eagles seen = well from the VC and later from 121 bridge. One BE worked the water = south of the fishing pier near the VC for a while as we watched from the = pier. Magnificent! Both remained perched in trees along the water for at = least an hour. There were also good numbers of ducks, mostly = Ring-necked, Am. Coot, and Bufflehead. But there were also a single pair = of Redhead at the boat ramp, one Horned Grebe at the VC, 6 or more Ruddy = Ducks east of the 121 bridge and at least 10 Am. Wigeon west of the = bridge. Belted Kingfisher seen and heard at every stop. No time for the = inlets or the trails, unfortunately.
