The birds were very un-cooperative. The COMMON MERGS. were scarce and stayed up the channel. However, the BALD EAGLES put in a fine showing with 2 adults and 3 youngsters. A 3rd year bird caught a fish and ate while we watched in the scope(s). The only new bird we found was a single GREEN-WINGED TEAL that flew in with a flock of 20 AMERICAN BLACK DUCKS. A PILEATED gave us a nice show as he perched in a tree right off the dam. A quick check of Centennial park tallied an almost identical list to yesterday. A single GADWALL was found. The water was much more open than yesterday.
