The conservation area Greenbury Point North Severn, which is = located across the Severn River from downtown Annapolis and once was the = site for Navy radio towers, has the following rules for access. Greenbury Point North Severn, including the Greenbury Point Nature = Center and its trails, is open to the public Thursdays from 1-5 pm and = the first Saturday of the month from 10am to 3 pm. Otherwise, it is = open only to those holding current military, retired military, or Naval = Academy civilian staff identification cards and their dependents, or = those having special permission to enter. An Orange-crowned Warbler was found there on the Annapolis/Gibson Island = Christmas Count on Sunday, December 30. It was also seen the following = Wednesday. I don't know if it has been seen since. White-crowned, Fox, = and Savannah Sparrows have been reliably seen there this winter.
