I didn't even realize what was happening until he scattered around a bit and landed on a limb above the feeder. Great yard bird for me. Has anyone ever heard of a screech owl going for suet? Do they go for seeds as well? I was wondering if maybe the little guy was desperate because of the rain - I know they have a hard time tracking down any prey when the leaves are wet and the sound is muted. Oh yeah, and thanks for the responses on the birding software last week.
