Nice bird for an inland lake. To find the loon: walk out on the almost bare peninsula (an island if the water is higher); the bird was near the shore of the facing wooded peninsula. Other waterfowl seen were Pied-billed Grebe, Canada Goose, Mallard, Gadwall, Am. Wigeon, Ring-Necked Duck, Common Merganser, Hooded Merganser, Am. Coot.
