MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Chris (?) at the Visitors' Center said he saw one at the edge of the cove from the canoe landing moving left around the spit of land that juts into the cove (on the left as you look out toward the townhouses across the water) earlier this morning. After looking for about half an hour and not seeing anything other than a couple dozen Buffleheads, Chris suggested that it might have kept moving around the left, hidden by the tall marsh grasses. Thinking that it might have gone to the cove where Norm and Fran found it, I headed that way and climbed up into the observation tower. Nothing but wind, Mute Swans and more Buffleheads. But then I couldn't see all of the area hidden by the marsh grasses. Shoot, I couldn't see hardly anything thanks to that wind. In the evening, I stopped back at a spot across the way and looked back toward the wetlands sanctuary. Nada (well, Buffleheads, Mute Swans, Mallards and C. Geese). The wind was still rough, but not as bad. At least I saw a couple of adult Bald Eagles flying around. Hope this helps, Gail. Might be worth calling the visitors center and ask for Chris to see if he's seen it around.
