I chose my words carefully, but my intent may not have been very clear ... I said, "Don't dismiss them" ... not meaning to imply that they all may be wild .. but rather that they all may not be exotic. Clear as mud, right! Regardless, the MD/DC Records Committee welcomes reports of any Barancle Geese in MD or DC. Records Committees all throughout the northeast are wrestling with the "origin" issue with regard to this species. More information is probably better ... Thanks to all.
