This year we have none. Until this year we've always seen a good number (nearly half the total) of first-winter birds in the flock, but this year we have not seen one. I have seen mention of "juvenile" white-crowns in some posts so I assume there are first-winter WCSp in other areas of MD this year. Has anyone else seen a similar change this year, or is this just a local "variation"? Loving this snow and the backyard show!
