We have some White-crowned Sparrows but as I said no first-winter birds, which concerned me. But it seems we're lucky to have any. From CBC data at the Cornell/Audubon site it looks like this is a trend. WCSp counts are down in Maryland. I hope the trend reverses itself. We really appreciate these beautiful birds, as I'm sure you do. I hope they return to your yard soon. Otherwise, good birding!
