First a pair of = red-tails worked the valley north to south. Later I had a sharpie on the = rooftop, checking out the yard. After a while he (?) glided down into a = pear tree and perched about 4 ft off the ground, staying long enough for = me to retrieve the camera and get several pics. Not much later there was = a commotion to the west across the wide ravine behind us, and I watched = a male N. Harrier being mobbed by crows.
