The weather was beautiful, we got spectacular views of several raptors, and for the most part we avoided the hidden, knee-deep, water filled holes in the marsh. 50 total species. Observers: Fred Fallon, Jane Fallon, Fred Shaffer, Tom Marko, Lynette Fullerton, & Drew Thornblad. The trip list was: House Finch Goldfinch Downy Woodpecker Hairy Woodpecker Red Bellied Woodpecker Northern Flicker Pileated Woodpecker Carolina Chicadee Tufted Titmouse Ruby Crowned Kinglet Eastern Bluebird American Robin Hermit Thrush Carolina Wren Winter Wren Northern Cardinal SWAMP SPARROW White Throated Sparrow Swamp Sparrow American Crow Fish Crow Red Tailed Hawk Red Shouldered Hawk Coopers Hawk Sharp Shinned Hawk BALD EAGLE (five!)
