At noon today it was in Cameron Run Regional Park that is within sight of the Capital Beltway. Easiest directions: Take Capital Beltway to Alexandria and get off at Eisenhower Avenue Connector, Exit 174 (between I-95 and the Wilson Bridge). Take the Connector north (the only option) to Eisenhower Avenue at the first traffic light north of the Beltway. Turn right and proceed east on Eisenhower Avenue about 1/2 mile to the Park's visitor center (?) and put-put golf course on your right (north side of Eisenhower Ave). The Barnacle Goose was in a flock of 30 or so Canada Geese by the golf course's little pond. I was told the flock had been feeding north of the park building earlier in the morning. The birds were about 30 yards away, so seeing the BAGO was, literally and figuratively, a walk in the park. Good birding.
