It was roosting, complicating spotting but still present. Note that the wide shoulders that used to exist on Johns Hopkins Rd. in front of APL are no more. The reconfiguration of the intersection of Rt. 29 and Johns Hopkins extends for no apparent reason to well beyond the entrance to APL. Alas, APL parking is not open to the public, nor is the parking lot across the street at a facility the name of which escapes me. The mud adjacent to the east bound lane which are being reconfigured supported my Tercel. Should be firmer tomorrow. Let's hope the mid-winter counters in that area score the goose. From rt. 29, take Johns Hopkins Rd. west, go a short distance, note the pond on your right, park as best you can without doing it illegally, and scan the geese on the lawn and in the pond. Good luck, and thanks Nancy! Kurt Schwarz Howard County white-crown@home.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Magnusson, Nancy C."
