Frederick Cty MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit I think I've heard that Harrier counts are dropping at many migration count sites. I have noticed that many places where harriers normally winter seem to be missing them, including the fields around my house. This may be the result of a decline in harriers, a low in the vole cycle or a combination of both. There have been more kestrels near my home this winter, perhaps attracted by the large numbers of sparrows. I haven't seen very many voles when I've been out. J.
