I noticed them around 11:45, but they were still calling a couple hours later. They sounded like they could have been side by side, because the calls were coming from the same area, but overlapping each other. Should I take this as a sign of breeding activity? Also nice hearing all the birds first thing in the morning - the Red Winged Blackbirds are getting very noisy, and the Mourning Doves are boo-hooing prettily.
