Jett" Subject: Early Birds Sing MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Folks With the mild weather and sunny skies, the songsters were out today in force around the Waldorf property. Early a number of male Eastern Bluebirds were singing there hearts out. They sang most all day. Very fresh plumages this time of the year shows their brillant colors. Shortly after the Bluebirds, Titmouse began singing and sang until middle day. Middle day was when I heard my first Dark-eyed Junco sing, my first of the season. Spring will be here shortly and the Atlas work will be in full swing. Grackle flocks seem to be breaking up and lots of Robins flying overhead. Remember, House Sparrows are now in safe dates. Enjoy your natural history.
