Highl;ghts included: At least 12 Lesser Blakc-backed Gulls 1 First-winter California Gull Several mystery gulls. Anyone who spends eight hours looking at 10,000 = gulls and doesn't find at least one unidentified bird isn't looking hard = enough. The primary mystery gull is still being researched. It was a perfect = adult winter California Gull except that it appeared to have pale eyes. = The others were not so tractable.=20 Gene Scarpulla will publish all the details later tonight or tomorrow.
