Does anyone have information on bald eagles nesting near Bridgetown MD (D= eLorme MD/DE page 51 @ B4)? Last Wednesday morning (about 8 am), while en route to Delaware (alone) I= spotted a soaring bird, very broad winged with a steady glide and it app= ared to have some white in the head. Unfortunately, I had an 18-wheeler b= earing down on me and by the time I was able to pull off and turn around,= I lost track of the bird. I hung around for 15 minutes hoping it would r= eappear. It seemed bigger than a black vulture. Birding while driving cer= tainly has its challenges. I am curious if bald eagles have been reported= in the area. It was flying over Mason Branch which passes just west of B= ridgetown by an old brick church. Of course, wintering bald eagles may al= so be in the area and Tuckahoe S.P. isn't far away. Happy Birding....
