If you regularly turn in your sightings for inclusion in North American Birds or the MOS Season Reports, now is the time to begin thinking about gathering your material for this past winter, now rapidly drawing to a close. I send ALL of my sightings each quarter to Jim Stasz in the form of a spreadsheet for his mega-MD-database. His e-mail address is Jlstasz@AOL.COM I cull my sightings for the best birds (this is my judgement, often ignored..grin) and send this smaller list to Marshall Iliff for his Seasons Report for NAB. Marshall's e-mail address is miliff@AOL.COM One should probably also send this list to the compilers of the MOS Season Reports for eventual publication in MD Birdlife. The compilers are Dan & Linda Southworth, in Columbia, MD. Unfortunately, I don't think they have an e-mail address (if they do, it is a very well-kept secret). Perhaps Bob Ringler could accept submissions for them? I will not post Bob's e-mail address until he confirms he will accept and forward such submissions. So, start getting your stuff together and send it in to Jim & Marshall and face the onslaught of Spring with a clear conscience! Best, Norm ===================================== Norman C.
