Sounds similar to one that's been reported in the area already, but just wanted to alert people to its continued presence. This one looks like a Canada with a white head and neck and dull pinks legs. It's about Canada size, but it's neck is a little shorter. With a good imagination or very poor eyesight, one could say it looks like a blue phase Snow Goose, but it looks nothing like the goose I saw on the Anacostia River last week. The bird I saw last week looks very much like a big blue phase Snow Goose with a brown belly and dark (gray w/dull pink) legs & bill. In other words, these two birds are very different. So clearly there are several "mixed" geese in the DC area right now.
