They were just north of North Ave (actually north of the train bridge there) I went back this morning and they were both still there hanging out amid the mallards. They really are pretty and quite graceful too. It was fun to see them still there this morning because I imagine they are migrating through. Seems like different birds like that spot as I have also seen black crowned night herons there (a mother and two immatures I think they were) one morning right around dawn this past winter. I believe the night herons may live there but are never out in the daytime. I've only seen them once though but I always look if I am there around dawn. I run on Falls rd alot usually in morning and always look and listen for birds. ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
