Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Unless you have experienced it, a large flock of vultures may not be as nice as it sounds. They do pick at shingles, wood, caulking, flashing etc. They will peck at window and skylights. They can cause more damage than you would think a vulture could do. They get bored and enjoy tearing things apart. Then there is the mutes, castings, vomit. The mutes stain and are difficlt to clean when dry. They will coat everything. Plus the smell! Castings are just as nasty, and are very loose, unlike that of an owl or hawk, and they splatter. No need to discuss the vomit. Other than that they are beautiful creatures and, from my experience, seemingly more intelligent than many types of birds.
