They were all in one big group, on the ground, under the sunflower feeder. Too bad a sharpie made a pass through the yard before I could get the camera. They were accompanied by juncos, White-throated Sparrows and a single Fox Sparrow. Still coming to the window feeder are the pair of Red-breasted Nuthatches who have been here all winter -- I'll be sorry to see them leave. The male Pine Warbler, who has been singing his head off for sometime now, seems to have been successful in attracting a mate. A female is now joining him at the window feeder. He also seems to have "discouraged" the second male that was here for a few days two weeks ago. There is a lot of activity at the feeders on this very chilly March morning! //////// Arlene Ripley | || Calvert County, MD | 0 || aripley@nestbox.com | || http://www.nestbox.com || ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
