I've seen the discussion here about how to get them off a roof. Any more ideas on that? Does anyone have a story about too many roosting in a neighborhood or about their eating habits? Have you witnessed anything kids would consider gross, such as barfing or peeing on legs? I know there were a lot of turkey vultures roosting in the Flower Valley section of Rockville for a few years, but this year they seem to be gone. Any idea why? Some people claim that black vultures sometimes kill farm animals. Does anyone have evidence of this? I know a lot of general info about vultures after writing an article on them for Ranger Rick magazine, but it would be great to get some local lore into the KidsPost story. I won't quoate anyone without checking the wording by e-mail first. Thanks for any help!
