I had just turned onto Birdsville Road (424) off of Rt 2. About 1/2 mile down the road I saw something dark & large slowly crossing the road. I had to come to a complete stop to allow it to meander its way across the road. It was a big, lovely male. I looked around, but didn't see any more lurking in the woods. This begs the question, just why did the turkey cross the road? Happy birding, Kathie Lambert Harwood, MD kbert59@yahoo.com __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
