Churchill" Subject: LTDU (Oldsquaw ?) at Piney Reservoir Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"; format=flowed Hi MD A few waterfowl species this morning at Piney Reservoir in Garrett County, MD but perhaps the best birds to find were 2 oldsquaw (Long-tailed Ducks). There were also ~9 Tundra Swans, a nice Common Loon, all 3 Merganser Sp. including 5 nice male Common Mergs. and about 10 Horned Grebes (some sporting some head plumes). On Saturday There was a Blue Goose in with the Canada Geese at Meadows Campground (also in Garrett County) and another Common Merganser there, some Gadwall and Wigeon among some of the more common species helped fill out the waterfowl list.
