If anyone has the date and location of their owl = encounters since the turn of the New Year they have valuable Breeding = Bird Atlas data. All Great Horned Owls seen since 1 Jan are good = possibles (or probables if a male and female were heard duetting), and = all Barred Owls since mid-January also "count" for the Atlas. I would be = grateful to any and all observers who have reasonably precise locations = for their owl sightings for addition to Atlas blocks as incidental = reports. People already compiling atlas records in their blocks do not = have to send me their owl observations until they are ready to report = their atlas data at the end of the current atlas season. Thank you all = for you help in mapping our early nesting night birds.
