A Barred Owl was calling repeatedly last evening also, in the same area. Last week a flock of 15 Glossy Ibis loitered for at least a few hours along Route 33 east of Oak Creek. They were near the rain pools in the field behind the red-white-blue split rail fence (painted after 9/11 - and no one can miss it). Two Hermit Thrushes were seen and heard Easter Sunday Morning near Trappe. And a single Chukar seems to think it has found safe refuge at Pickering Creek, so has stayed around their buildings for the past few days. So tame that it is obviously a pen-raised bird.
