A Black-and- white Warbler was in the area just over the footbridge behind the boathouse. A Northern Parula was along the towpath north of Fletcher's. I first heard it singing. I then found it fairly low in a tree, providing a great view. Also at Fletcher's: a Spotted Sandpiper, a Great Egret flying down river, and a Bald Eagle flying up river. Around Chain Bridge: an Osprey, both vultures, Blue-winged Teal (2m, 1f), several singing Eastern Phoebes. Northern Rough-winged Swallows and many Double-crested Cormorants were at both locations.
