A single PALM and a dozen YELLOW-RUMPS. SWAMP SPARROW numbers increased to a dozen. (lovely plumages!) Walking the trolley trail in Baltimore county (it runs through 3 quarter blocks) we confirmed HOUSE SPARROW and picked up many probable species. New for the spring were a few RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS. A few GOLDEN-CROWNS and a HERMIT THRUSH were also noteworthy. This morning I spotted a WOOD DUCK perched in the tree behind my house.
