Both going out and coming back the airport officials had to ask what it was when it went through the scanner, but there was no problem. Like Norm I always carry on my optics and pack the tripod in luggage to be checked in. I have never flown with a scope, and particularly with "enhanced" airport security and baggage limitations I'm wondering what problems I might run into. I'd appreciate any tips, warnings, anecdotes, etc. Thanks. > > Joe Alexander > Middletown, Frederick Co., MD > joealexander@md.adelphia.net > > > ======================================================================= > To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com > with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey > ======================================================================= > ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
