There was one bird seen near the road and another singing farther back in the field yesterday morning, 4/7. Since it is a new year, I will re-post the directions - from Reliance (the far southern tip of Caroline Co.), go 1 mile north on MD 577 to Oak Grove Rd. Turn right, go 1/4 mile to a farm lane with 4 utility poles that go to nothing (the house is long gone) on the left. There is usually one or more on the lines here and others to be heard singing. It is almost always reliable (except in strong winds) from now through August and then sporadically into October.
