Mostly early spring migrants and some residents and lingering winter visitors as well. Best birds seen include: 6-7 yellow Palm Warblers, both N and S end of park, all in bright plumage. 2-3 Yellow-rumps, dull females/immatures. 3-4 singing Chipping Sparrows 4-6 singing Field Sparrows, plus others seen. also singing White-throats, Song Sparrows and Juncos 1 Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 2 Ruby-crowned Kinglets, one singing 2 male Towhees 3 Phoebes 1 Hermit Thrush 1 beautiful adult Red-shouldered Hawk 3 pairs of Bluebirds building nests in the boxes 2 kingfishers That was about it, but a pleasant walk...
