Warblers are definitely on the move! Species seen were: Pied-billed Grebe Great Blue Heron Canada Goose Mallard Lesser Yellowlegs Mourning Dove Belted Kingfisher Downy Woodpecker Northern Flicker Tree Swallow Northern Rough-winged Swallow Northern Mockingbird Eastern Bluebird Hermit Thrush American Robin White-breasted Nuthatch American Crow Fish Crow European Starling Blue-winged Warbler Yellow-rumped Warbler Palm Warbler Prairie Warbler Common Yellowthroat Chipping Sparrow Song Sparrow White-throated Sparrow Northern Cardinal Red-winged Blackbird Common Grackle House Finch American Goldfinch Earlier in the day, from our window, we watched House Finches displaying and mating, and a pair of Blue Jays breaking twigs off a hawthorn tree and flying off with them.
